who am i anyway?

70s1 I can’t think of a time in my life where art and design haven’t played a role.  I grew up in a modern home in the -70’s.  My parents are both creative people.  My dad, worked as an architect and urban planner and my mom had a passion for painting and fashion design.    By no accident, our family lived in Reston, VA which was one of the first planned communities.  I grew up playing with my parents’ drafting, painting and drawing tools as toys and still consider them as such.  I have lived in many cities throughout my life including Houston, South Bend (college), Florence, Los Angeles (twice), New York City (Brooklyn-grad school), Chicago and Sarasota.  I currently own my own Interior Design/Graphic Design firm in Tampa, Florida. I dabble in metalsmithing and painting any chance I can get.

I have a passion for really anything that engages the creative psyche….art, design, music, architecture, writing…I am inspired by and drawn to anyone who taps into these elements.

This blog is a casual, personal blog that recounts my own exciting adventures and thoughts as I attempt to weave myself into this beautiful creative world.

Very funny how one can stumble onto something where people have the same interests. Found you on twitter. I thought I was going to become an architect but now I am into typography and Identity. I love meeting people with the same or similar interests. Glad to meet you.
